With recent renovations on both the clubhouse and the golf course, the University of Florida continues to boast one of the finest overall facilities in collegiate golf. In the summer of 2008, the University Athletic Association spent $1.8 million for renovations on the interior and exterior of the clubhouse. In 2001, the course underwent a $4 million renovation.

The Gators have called the University of Florida Golf Club (formerly the Gainesville Golf and Country Club) home since 1962. A $1.1 million clubhouse was completed in the summer of 1988 on the site of the original clubhouse thanks to a donation from former UF student and Gator Booster Guy Bostick.

In 2008, the University Athletic Association spent $1.8 million to renovate the clubhouse facilities. The updated clubhouse features renovated locker rooms for both UF teams with wooden lockers and a new team lounge area. New offices were added for the UF golf coaches and the pro shop, snack bar and public locker rooms were renovated and expanded. The new entryway features trophy cases that display UF golf championship trophies and highlight the program’s success.
